Creating a clinical website built around expertise and trust
George Spyrou, a plastic surgeon practising in Leeds, needed a professional website for people considering treatment.
The website had to feel clinical, authoritative and calm. It needed to reflect George's experience while giving potential patients the information they needed to make informed decisions. In a field where people often research carefully before getting in touch, clarity and simplicity mattered as much as visual polish.
George wanted the brand to centre on his own name rather than a generic clinic title. The Spyrou name lent credibility and personal reputation to the practice, so we placed him at the heart of the website. Photography of George helped make the site feel personal and reassuring while keeping a professional medical tone.
Choosing the right domain and protecting the brand
Domain strategy formed an important part of the project. After reviewing the available options, we chose spyrouclinic.com as the main website domain and also registered spyrouclinic.co.uk to protect the UK version.
As the brand developed around Spyrou Plastic Surgery, we also registered spyrouplasticsurgery.com and spyrouplasticsurgery.co.uk. To further strengthen brand protection, we registered georgespyrouplasticsurgeon.co.uk, with the matching .com already held by the client.
That gave the brand a clearer and more secure foundation online.
The detailed illustrations all add to creatinga research-led platform.
Designing for informed decisions
George wanted service pages with real depth, not lightweight summaries. Potential patients needed enough information to understand procedures, compare options and prepare more meaningfully before enquiring.
George provided specialist text and diagrams, which helped us create the research-led platform he wanted. We shaped the site around that requirement, placing treatment information clearly within the user journey.
The design remained simple and uncluttered throughout. A clinical colour palette, generous white space and restrained typography helped create a sense of calm, confidence and professionalism. The site needed to feel expert and experienced without feeling cold or difficult to navigate.
Making contact easy
The website also needed to turn careful research into straightforward enquiries.
Potential patients could explore treatment information first, then contact the practice easily when ready. The enquiry process linked directly to the hospital team, with contact forms routed to the correct email address so the patient journey could move smoothly from research to direct communication.

The result
The Spyrou Plastic Surgery website gave George Spyrou a professional online presence built around authority, clarity and trust.
The site reflects the brand personality we identified: authoritative, expert, confident and experienced. It also supports the brand's quality position, providing patients with a calm, informative place to understand treatment options before taking the next step.
By combining domain strategy, personal branding, clinical design and detailed treatment content, the project created a website that presents George Spyrou as the expert behind the practice while supporting patients through the decision-making process.
