“Technology changes. Our focus does not: understanding what our clients want to achieve and helping them find the most effective way to get there.”

Digital marketing with 30 years of perspective
Video & Web is a full service digital agency helping businesses build a stronger, more effective presence online.
We create websites, improve search visibility, produce content, manage social media, develop brands and make video. But those individual services are only part of what we do.
Our starting point is strategy.
Before deciding what to create, we look at what a business is trying to achieve, where the opportunities lie and which activities are most likely to make a meaningful difference.
That means our clients do not have to piece together websites, SEO, content, video and social media from different suppliers. We can bring those areas together around one clear direction.

Focused on Success
The digital world offers businesses more ways to reach customers than ever before. It also creates more opportunities to waste time and money.
We believe good marketing starts by making sensible choices.
What does your website need to achieve? Where should you concentrate your search efforts? What content is worth creating? Which social channels matter? Would video strengthen the message? What should happen first?
Our role is to help answer those questions and turn the answers into practical action.
That thinking sits behind our approach and our promise to remain Focused on Success.

Built around smaller businesses
We have always enjoyed working with ambitious small and medium sized businesses.
They may not have the marketing departments or budgets of national brands, but that does not mean their websites, content or marketing should feel second rate.
In fact, digital gives smaller businesses an extraordinary opportunity to compete.
A clear message, strong website, useful content and intelligent marketing can give a relatively small organisation a presence far greater than its size might suggest.
We have spent three decades helping businesses do exactly that.
Our Story
Our story began in the mid-1990s, when the commercial internet was still new, websites were relatively rare, and most businesses were only beginning to understand what being online might mean.
We started by registering domain names, setting up email, creating some of our earliest websites, and exploring how this new medium could help organisations communicate.
At the same time, we were working in video production. Editing was moving from tape to computers, promotional films were distributed on VHS, and later DVD, and putting moving pictures on a website still felt remarkably ambitious.
As technology developed, those two worlds gradually became one.
Search engines transformed how people found businesses. YouTube made online video mainstream. Social media created entirely new ways to communicate. Smartphones put the internet in everyone’s pocket.
We continued adapting with it.
Along the way, members of our team gained experience producing work for major brands, broadcasters and organisations, including projects connected with the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky, as well as campaigns and productions for recognised national and international brands.
Eventually our web and video work formally came together as Video & Web.
Today, the technology is very different, but the underlying challenge is remarkably familiar: helping businesses make good use of new opportunities without becoming distracted by every new platform, trend or piece of technology.
We have seen digital marketing change repeatedly, and we know it will continue to change. Our job is not to chase everything that is new. It is to understand what is useful and apply it where it can genuinely help our clients.

A long term partner

Some clients come to us for a particular project. Others work with us for many years. Either way, we want the relationship to feel straightforward, useful and built around a genuine understanding of the business.
We take the time to explain our recommendations, make costs clear, and give clients access to people who know their organisation, their priorities, and the work we have already done together. That continuity makes it easier to make good decisions and means clients do not have to start from scratch every time they need something new.
We are also interested in what happens after something launches. A new website is not the end of the story. It should evolve as the business changes. Search visibility needs developing. Content needs refreshing. Social activity needs direction. New opportunities arise, technology evolves, and customer expectations change.
We continue to support that journey rather than disappear once the initial project is complete. Providing practical advice, reliable support and a clear sense of what should happen next.
Where do you want your business to go next?
If you are considering a new website, trying to improve your visibility or simply wondering where your marketing budget would have the greatest impact, a strategy meeting is a good place to begin.
We can look at where you are now, what you want to achieve and the most practical route forward.
