A website built around specialist expertise
Tzafetta Cosmetic Surgery needed a complete website update to reflect the experience, authority and specialist focus of Ms Kallirroi Tzafetta. Video & Web had also created her previous website, but the practice had evolved, and her online presence needed to move with it.
Ms Tzafetta received enquiries for general plastic surgery, but wanted the website to place much greater emphasis on facial reanimation. This is her specialist field, supported by additional training, qualifications and international expertise. The new website needed to communicate that clearly, while still presenting her wider cosmetic and reconstructive procedures with care and professionalism.
By using a calm and muted colour palette, we developed a more sophisticated visual direction.
A calmer, more premium brand feel
As part of the wider project, Video & Web created the refreshed branding and logo design for Tzafetta Cosmetic Surgery. The full brand identity work sits in a separate case study, but it played an important role in shaping the new website.
The brand needed to balance clinical authority with warmth and reassurance. It had to feel calm, elegant and confident, without becoming cold, intimidating or overly promotional. We developed a more sophisticated visual direction, using a muted colour palette, soft contrast and considered typography to support that premium but human tone.
This mattered especially for a website dealing with sensitive medical subjects. Patients researching facial reanimation, facial paralysis or cosmetic surgery may feel uncertain, anxious or vulnerable. The design therefore, needed to reduce anxiety, present information clearly and create a sense of trust from the first visit.
A Facial Reanimation Hub for patients
We created a dedicated Facial Reanimation Hub to establish authority, support SEO and provide a useful resource for people living with facial paralysis.
The hub brings together clear information on causes of facial paralysis, surgical and non surgical treatment options, physiotherapy and recovery guidance, patient journey expectations, frequently asked questions and Ms Tzafetta’s specialist approach.
This section helped reposition the website around Ms Tzafetta’s core area of expertise, while giving patients a clear and reassuring place to begin their research.
The Facial Reanimation hub brings together clear information on facial paralysis causes, treatment and Frequently asked question.
Clearer procedure pages with more depth
We rewrote and expanded the website copy across the main procedure pages. Each cosmetic and reconstructive procedure now follows a more comprehensive structure, covering consultation expectations, techniques, recovery guidance, limitations, frequently asked questions and before and after images where appropriate.
We also refined the naming structure of the procedures, placing the medical name first with the more familiar term in brackets. This subtle change helped shift the tone of the website towards a more professional, consultant-led presentation, reflecting Ms Tzafetta’s standing as a highly experienced surgeon.
More appropriate imagery and visual content
Where the site needed stock imagery, we generated and selected images that felt subtle, realistic and carefully matched to the tone of the site. The imagery moved away from anything overly cosmetic or generic, instead using softer, more muted visuals that complemented the website’s calm, specialist feel.
We also carried out a photoshoot with Ms Tzafetta to create updated profile photographs. These images help bring warmth and personality to the site, balancing medical authority with a more personal connection.
A social media engine forms part of the Tzafetta SEO strategy.
Ongoing blogs, SEO and social media
We built the website as part of a wider content and visibility strategy. The SEO needed to support specialist procedure searches, as well as location based visibility around the hospitals and clinics where Ms Tzafetta consults and operates.
Video & Web also provides ongoing monthly blog writing, often shaped by Ms Tzafetta’s suggested topics, specialist interests or speaking events. These articles keep the website active, support search visibility and provide useful information for prospective patients.
Alongside this, we manage social media across LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. We created a social media engine that posts about different procedures and links back to relevant pages on the website. As we produce new blog content, we add further posts into the engine, allowing the campaign to grow over time.
We filmed a video introducing Ms Tzafetta and her approach to plastic surgery.
Video to build trust before enquiry
We also produced a video introducing Ms Tzafetta’s approach to surgery. It sits prominently on the homepage and helps prospective patients feel more familiar with her before making an enquiry.
The full video production sits in a separate case study, but it forms an important part of the website experience. It gives the site a more personal centre point and helps visitors connect with the person behind the practice.
A more focused digital platform
The new Tzafetta Cosmetic Surgery website presents a clearer, calmer and more specialist online presence. It supports Ms Tzafetta’s authority in facial reanimation, provides detailed patient information, strengthens location-based SEO and connects the website with ongoing blog and social media activity.
